Best Of Baby And Kids' Outerwear

The temperature outside in our neck of the woods (OK, city), just dropped from 75 to 50 in the past few days. I hate it when the cold arrives so suddenly. Yes, I know it's October and it was bound to happen eventually, but I wish the transition was a little more gradual.

Anyhow, the sudden chill brought me to face the fact that all of my kids' last years jackets and coats are small on them. Guess what I spent time doing today?

I usually buy two jackets for each of my kids. One, I call the "mid-weather" jacket. The second is a down filled coat for the coldest of days. My daughter also gets a dressy wool coat for the holidays, 'cause she's a big girl and needs to feel sophisticated. Did I mention I hate Winter? So many layers to research, buy and put on. Wouldn't it be nice if we could just hibernate till Spring?
